Review
The caravan we stayed in was a prestige newer model and apart from one issue with a (very) orange food stained pillowcase on the bed, (i just changed myself as we had spare bedding pack) the overall cleanliness was good.
The site has great access to the beach with several access points from the camp, this was our main reason for booking here as it had direct beach access.
There are several activities across the site (some payable) all staff we met were great, the funstars in the live lounge interact well with the children.
It is clear some major investment is required in the main areas, especially in the live lounge as it is possibly the worst venue at any haven camps i have been too, i really feel for the staff trying their best to entertain people in this venue, bourne leisure need to invest in every park equally totally unfair some camps seem to have much more than others. Hats off to the staff who work here as it must get them down seeing it so run down.
Overall we enjoyed the weekend break and the kids enjoyed it and that is the main thing for us. Would definitely recommend for the location and travelling around north Wales.
Had long weekend here, very busy place but it’s exactly what you’d expect. Difficult due to the covid situation for the staff I’m sure and they were very pleasant and helpful. We ate there and the food was fine and not overpriced for what we had. The accommodation was expensive for a 3 night stay as there was not entertainment or access to facilities (again due to the covid situation). Caravan was excellent very clean and comfortable with all the things you’d need. There was an ant problem but didn’t bother us so much. Overall we enjoyed it and were glad to get away.
This year has been a record year for holidays in the UK next year is expected to be even better.
